Interoperating characters on the big screen can make the audience relate to a cretin individual and creates empathy and compassion. The Lost Boys of Sudan and God Grew Tired of Us, are both fantastic films that show how cultural identity and how differences make us all human. These films show how different cultures often clash because of diverse values but the differences can also bring them together.
